BallyLanders Forge-in

The dates for this event are the 14^th and 15^th of August 2010; to be held in BallyLanders, Co Limerick, Ireland (a village about 8 miles on the Limerick side of Mitchelstown).The event will be run on similar lines to our previous forge-in at Cootehall. The community will put us up and feed us, cover our insurance and provide a forging area. The project revolves around some land on the edge of the village donated to become a park, the local committee made contact with me about a forge-in and it was agreed that we would make up 2 benches as our project. These are being designed by IABA members.

Eric O’Neill needs to let the committee know exact numbers to be accommodated, if people wish to come down on the Friday (There is some latitude for on this for smiths outside Ireland, but please contact Eric to express your interest in attending) - let him know as accommodation will be sorted for you. Everyone wishing to attend this event should let Eric know by or before Friday the 16^th of July , so that he can get this organised.
